Dedication of the memorial plaque in honor of the 45th Division of the 7th U.S. Army

Dachau concentration camp was liberated by U.S. Armed Forces forces on April 29^th, 1945. On the 80^th anniversary of the liberation of Dachau concentration camp, a memorial plaque will be dedicated in memory of the soldiers of the 45^th Division. The memorial plaque will be placed in the passageway of the former Jourhaus next to the memorial plaques for the 42^nd Division and 20th Armored Division.

The event will be followed by a scenic reading with quotes from liberators, survivors and other contemporary witnesses in the cinema hall of the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site.
