Visitors’ Center, Exhibitions, and Grounds
The Memorial Site is open daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The Memorial Site is closed on December 24th.
Closure of the crematorium area at 4:45 pm.
Administration, Archive and Library
The administrative offices of the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site are located in the eastern wing of the former maintenance building. Staff are present from Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Following prior registration, the archive and library of the Memorial Site are open for public use from Tuesday to Friday between 9:00 am and 5 pm.
Entry
The entry is free. No prior appointment is necessary.
If you are planning to use a car or motorbike to get to the Memorial Site, please note that fees are charged for using the parking lot.
Services for the Visit
The Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site offers various educational programs for individual visitors, school classes and groups.
Please note: All of the programs offered by the Education Department are for visitors over the age of 13.
